Overview

This medium-duty retractor is designed to support heavier hand-operated tools, or used in equipment to pull back objects in motion like robot cables and hose; however, unlike a balancer, tension increases as the cable is pulled out. With larger cable extension range of 3.0 m (9.8 ft), this model provides ample working range for many applications. The load-carrying capacity is adjustable within the working range of a specific model.

Thanks to their quality and safety, these retractors have stood the test. Parts subject to wear, like the spring and cable, are easy to replace and available as spare parts. This series comes with a spring breakage safeguard as a standard feature that reliably prevents the suspended load from falling down if the spring breaks. Also standard is the secondary safety chain.

This series has a continuously rotatable adjusting screw, and incorporates a device that prevents inadvertent spring damage during load setting.

The 7222 retractor comes with a ratchet lock. This automatic arresting mechanism allows the load to be suspended in a predetermined position if returned at a lower speed.
