Due to continuing and systematic implementation of relevant safety requirements, this balancer combines high operational safety and durability with very easy and safe servicing. As a result of practical experience gained over many years, the operating ranges of this balancer are optimally structured. Thanks to the modular design and the fully encapsulated suspension spring, it is possible to change the load range in no time by simply exchanging the suspension spring cartridge. Load adjustment is done conveniently via an infinitely adjustable endless screw. What’s more, the patented freewheeling device integrated as a standard feature prevents inadvertent spring damage during load setting. A cable travel of 2.0 m (6.5 ft) makes this balancer suitable for larger working areas. The cable length can be continuously adapted to specific applications via the cable wedge. An integrated cable extension limit stop prevents cable mount overload. The cable drum comes fitted with two ball bearings for very smooth and precise operation. The 8241 model has a freely rotatable and swiveling suspension. This suspension hook can be optimally adjusted to its center of gravity for low-wear operation.
