Overview

The SAFE-MARK Food Contact Surface Marker is NSF registered for nonfood compounds category R1 and approved for marking on surfaces with indirect food contact. This versatile, quick-drying permanent ink marker is designed for marking food contact surfaces used in processing, transporting, or holding food products. Ideal for identifying storage bins, trays, dies and molds, tools, and processing equipment, the markers withstand temperatures from -20°F to 475°F and sterilization processes of 250°F at 15 psi for 20 minutes. They are perfect for marking on metal, glass, plastic, cardboard, rubber, shrink film, stretch wrap, or nearly any surface.

The valve action mechanism prevents ink from drying out when the cap is left off, and the locked-in nib prevents tip contamination. The threaded barrel allows the cap to be screwed onto the back, preventing it from falling off during use. Plus, these markers do not contain any reportable amounts of Xylene.
